BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Contractual Obligation

These terms and conditions form a part of the agreement.

 

The signing of the booking form constitutes an agreement to the terms and conditions as stated, the person signing the booking form must be a member of the party intending to occupy, be over 21 years old and certifies that he or she is authorised to agree to the booking conditions on behalf of all persons.                

 

Booking Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking.

 

Care Bond

An additional £100 Care Bond is required.

This may be refunded to the hirer, less any retentions for breakages, stains etc, within one week of the end of the hire period.

 

Payments

The outstanding balance is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date.

 

Full payment is required if the booking is made within 6 weeks of the arrival date.

If the holiday is not paid for in full 6 weeks prior, the holiday may be cancelled, and the dates released for resale.

Your bank details are required for the refund of your Care Bond.

 

Occupation

The caravan is offered for hire for the maximum occupation of 6 people only.

The hirer must not sublet or share the accommodation with anyone except the persons named on the booking form.

 

If the hirer invites or otherwise allows another to enter the caravan at any time, the hirer will be responsible for the actions of the said third party.

Pets or other animals are not permitted.  If this condition is broken, the owner reserves the right to retain the entire £100 Care Bond, for cleaning the caravan.

 

Smoking is not permitted in the caravan or on the decking. Please ensure the surrounding area is clear of any debris including cigarette butts before your departure. If this condition is broken, the owner reserves the right to retain some or all the security deposit for cleaning the caravan area.

 

Loss, damage and insurance

The owner takes no responsibility for loss or damage to the hirer’s property.

 

The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage or breakage which occurs to the caravan or its contents. A returnable Care Bond of £100 is required to cover in part or whole any replacement, repairs or expenses.

 

Availability and Cancellation or Curtailment

The owner may cancel bookings made if the caravan becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the owner’s reasonable control.  The owner will refund to the hirer any sums which have been paid.

 

If for any reason beyond the owners control the caravan is unavailable on the date of the start of the hire period, all payments made in advance will be refunded in full, the hirer shall have no further claim against the owner. If the hirer wishes to cancel the hire period they must do so in writing. The hirer will be liable for the full amount due unless the owner is able to re-let the caravan in which case a refund will be made less any loss or expenses incurred in the re-letting.

 

Responsibilities of the hirer

The caravan and all its fixtures, fittings, furnishings and equipment are to be left clean and tidy.

 

Any loss, damages or breakages should be reported immediately to us.  Such losses may be billed to the hirer.

None of the fixtures, fittings, furnishings, equipment, should be removed from the caravan.

If the caravan is unavailable to hire due to actions or negligence of the hirer, the hirer shall be responsible for any loss of rental fees.

The hirer will not cause any annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants of nearby caravans.

The hirer will permit the owner or their agents’ reasonable access to the caravan at all times in the case of an emergency.

 

Repairs

DIY repairs must not be attempted. You must report any problems to us.

 

Wheelchair Users

The caravan is accessed via a set of steps and is not suitable for wheelchair users.

 

Parking Space

A single parking space is available.  Please do not park in other private spaces or block the access road.  The owner accepts no responsibility for damage to your vehicle or your property left in it.

 

Standards & Complaints

Every effort will be made to ensure that the standard described for the caravan and that all fixtures, fittings, furnishings and equipment are in good working order.  However, no guarantee is given, nor liability accepted if any breakdown or loss of service occurs.  Repairs are effected as soon as possible, although inevitable, delays do occur.
